With THOUSANDS of paramedics, police officers, emergency dispatchers, school children, corporate offices, and private citizens from across this fine country, we were able to send 5, 049 Tim Cards to our soldiers, sailors, airmen & airwomen posted in Afghanistan for Christmas 2010!!!
Thank you to everyone who sent in their cards with personal sentiments. ‘Thank you’, ’safe return’, ‘job well done’, and ‘keep your chin up’ were but some of the messages that will keep our troops smiling and knowing that we support them wholeheartedly everyday.
Keep sending us your Tim Cards!! We continue to send them throughout the year so as to support all rotations.
Share A Cup is officially handing over our collection of Tim Cards today to the Canadian Forces. The event is taking place at our Toronto EMS Headquarters in Toronto.
Our honoured guests include Lieutenant-Colonel Andrew Atherton and a number of students from three visiting schools.
Stay tuned for pictures and a total count of collected Tim Cards!!
Although we are collecting Tim Cards ALL YEAR ROUND so as to reach all rotations of CF members being posted to KAF; we do tend to get a lot more cards during the Christmas season. :)
We would like to receive as many Tim Cards as possible by DECEMBER 9th so that they may make it in time to KAF for Christmas.
MAIL IN YOUR TIM CARDS TO OUR HEADQUARTERS (see address on our Mission page) and SHOW OUR SOLDIERS, SAILORS, AIRMEN, & AIRWOMEN THAT YOU CARE!!
We were able to spread our Share A Cup word to all those who attended the Association of Municipal Emergency Services of Ontario www.emsontario.ca awards ceremony. The event was held this weekend at Deerhurst Resort in beautiful Muskoka. Thank you to all who helped out!

Gold Wing Road Riders Association (GWRRA)
“Members from the Gold Wing Road Riders Association (GWRRA) chapters were thrilled to hear how well the Toronto EMS initiative has done in the past and how well it is doing so far this year collecting Tim Horton’s cards for military members in Kandahar. Collectively we contributed 235 cards.
